Can a normal tooth extraction (difficult/complicated extractions) during pregnancy harm the baby?

The risk of infection to the baby is greater than the risk of extraction; with the approval of an obstetrician and appropriate anesthesia, normal tooth extractions (including difficult/complicated extractions) can be performed.
