Is it possible to extract impacted teeth without stitches or bleeding using laser technology?

In traditional dentistry, the standard method for extracting impacted teeth involves opening the tissue with a scalpel and removing the bone with rotary instruments (burrs). However, nowadays, the comfort of impacted tooth operations can be greatly improved using advanced hard and soft tissue lasers such as “Er:YAG” and “Nd:YAG”. Since laser beams simultaneously seal (coagulate) capillaries while cutting the gum, bleeding is minimal. When bone removal is performed with a laser, no heat or vibration (trauma) is generated in the tissue, which minimizes postoperative swelling and pain. Although a completely sutureless procedure is not possible for every case, laser-assisted surgeries reduce the need for sutures, stimulate tissue healing at the cellular level (biostimulation), and significantly reduce the need for antibiotics.
